So I saw this portable app, thought I might be able to install this to a different partition and I downloaded the"GoogleChromePortable_22.0.1229.94_online.paf.exe"file OK, ran it, nominated a different folder for it to install to - P:\Program Files\google\chrome portable\installed it and it gave an option to run google chrome and I did so and it started up OK.

So I thought "OK, I'll create a short-cut to the exe file which will be where it installed the system files to", but, surprise, I can't find the system files! They are not where I thought I had told google chrome portable to install to.
So I thought - hey once I close google chrome I'll have no way of restarting it, unless I set it as my default browser, which I did as a temporary measure but that's not satisfactory. I might want to change my default browser and I want to create a desktop icon etc. so I need to know where the system files are!
So I want to know how to find the system files especially the .exe file so I can link to it to run google chrome. I also want to keep an eye on the disc space it is using up since that was the reason I am using the portable app on my PC in the first place.
I have just noticed that google chrome has started storing browser cache data in the default disc partition, in my case "Q"Q:\Documents and Settings\User name\Local Settings\Application Data\Google
